Israel Post office in cooperation with Swiss Post is looking for disruptive technology to address challenges in the fields of retail, parcel delivery, logistics, and digital trust.

The Israel Postal Company stands at the top of the Israeli marketplace, providing a variety of services to the public via its well skilled and knowledgeable staff while using advanced technology to improve the service/work methods.

The Challenges

We are looking for innovative technological solutions with unique business models, that provide significant new values along the entire transaction journey and user experience (for ex. Online transaction to last-mile experience, or applying for a government benefit, fulfillment A-Z, especially along the complex, cross-border, supply chain and last mile.)
The startups must address one of the following challenges:

 Smart sorting and classification, automation monitoring, localization, navigation, and mobility, Customs AI, & cargo space optimization for international transportation

Automation throughout the user journey, seamless integration between physical and digital journey, big data & customer service, data security & trust services, & management of customer service overlod

 

The benefits

Israel Post

The chosen company will have the opportunity to conduct a Proof of Concept (PoC) 

 

Using Israel Post's broad national infrastructure, the company will be able to test its solutions in a local Beta site in a real business environment and it will have access to Israel Post's data, operating systems, professional experts, the postal relations network, parallel corporations, and organizations in Israel and abroad 

Swiss Post

The chosen company will be invited to 
 Swiss Post headquarters in Bern, Switzerland

for a one day trip to  conduct a specified workshop, and exploring the opportunity to launch a pilot and up to 50,000 CHF support and mentoring by Swiss Post experts
and the Swiss Post network.

*A company will only be chosen once the application meets the requirements described in the FAQs and offers a valuable solution to the described challenges.

TImeline

Call for Proposal
Since it is a  government-owned cooperation,  Israel Post is obligated to set this call for proposal in accordance with the Israeli Mandatory Tenders Law- 1992.
Companies that meet the threshold conditions or described in the call for proposals are welcome to set their proposal and apply for the competition.

Invitation for Meetup

Companies who are interested in applying for the competition and submitting a proposal are welcome to a Q&A meetup.

 

The Q&A meetup will take place on August 5th, 2019,
between 4:00-6:00 PM at the Link Hotel, 39 Shaul Hamelech Av., Tel-Aviv
